BrAIn accessibility
More ways to follow the game.
Information for BrAIn 2.4 and later on iPhone and iPad. Last reviewed September 25, 2026.
Differentiate without color alone
BrAIn pairs color with text, symbols, boundaries, and counts. Word-game letters use check and cross markers, crosswords identify selected cells and numbered clues, and word groups show selection and result information. Grayscale checks covered iPhone and iPad layouts. Differentiate Without Color Alone is the currently declared App Store accessibility feature on both device families.
Reading and interaction
Game options include accessibility controls, labeled buttons, and screen-reader status messages in supported flows. Crossword clues can be read as a list, with the active clue repeated near the keyboard. Available device speech voices can pronounce supported answers. These features can help, but they do not establish complete screen-reader support for every game.
Known limitations
End-to-end native VoiceOver and Voice Control operation has not been verified across all modes, especially visual landmark quizzes and Game Center system screens. BrAIn does not currently declare full support for VoiceOver, Voice Control, Larger Text, Dark Interface, Sufficient Contrast, Reduced Motion, Captions, or Audio Descriptions. Some dialogs still animate with Reduce Motion enabled, and larger text or certain themes may need further layout and contrast improvements.
We will update this page and App Store declarations as testing and improvements are completed. An unselected feature is not a claim that every part of it fails; it means complete support has not been established.
